It's a good article, Andi, I do think this is the kind of thing that needs to happen, state Republicans, who hopefully Republicans in their state trust and would listen to, have to speak to the voters in their state. Particularly in the states that could swing either way to decide the election. 

Hopefully, Duncan's voice reaches and has an impact on the people of Georgia. 

On polling numbers, well, I will flat out say, they can't be trusted. They are manipulated to present a picture that certain people want presented. In a matter of a couple weeks I've read articles presenting polling numbers that say Trump is ahead in swing states and polling numbers that say Biden is ahead in swing states. 

I think the only polling numbers that are true, are that neither man is particularly popular in terms of favorability. This is easily explainable. First, Trump gets more press than any human being on the planet by far. Holy shit does this guy know how to stay at the top of every news cycle. Yes, most of the press on him is bad but on FOX and right wing media, they are saying the total opposite of what all normal media is saying, so in that way... well... if you are a FOX watcher, he's doing great. So, they are painting a false picture for their viewers but they believe their viewers want to be lied to and that is what works. This appears to be true.

Biden, as the sitting president, gets far less press, some of his press is favorable, but a lot of it, even from the normal media is not. He gets absolutely throttled daily about his handling of Israel and how they are conducting their war. He is constantly bashed about his age, from all sides. Democrats constantly wring their hands that he is not doing enough... in all kinds of areas. All while Trump and right wing media claim constantly that he is corrupt, that he is a criminal mastermind, that he is behind all of Trump's legal problems, and that he is so senile he is nearly in a coma. The entire media machine basically works to keep Biden's poll numbers in the tank, CNN claims they are just trying to be fair. Well, it does not work that way, when CNN or MSNBC has someone on that does some criticism of Biden, even if it is minor and they qualify it, well it gets blasted out on right wing media as "See, even the left thinks Biden is awful!"

So we end up with this general consensus that Biden either is very mediocre or he stinks. Hence, bad polling numbers. I don't think we should focus much on the polling because I honestly believe, it is neither based on reality nor does it reflect reality. 

Then add this into the mess... people are paying to have the poll numbers say what they want them to say. The Republican side has done this for some time but Trump and his minions love doing this. Even during this hush money trial, as they looked at where the money was coming from and who was signing the checks, it was revealed that Trump was paying a company, Red Finch I think was the name, to work to skew poll numbers in his favor. So, he paid them to manipulate polls to show he was leading.
