Hey EEE... have you heard of Rupert Sheldrake and his "morphic resonance" ideas? As this article states, 40 years and it's still an interesting mystery. I've also always liked the idea of a self-organizing sentience about the world and both these ideas nestle comfortably (or uncomfortably, depending on who you ask) within this realm.
