Icon Roger Penrose and Pansychisum anyone?

Well, it is a good day when one learns of a theory that seems to explain some of their strongest beliefs.

Of all places, I just read a piece in the new issue of Popular Mechanics on the findings of British mathmatician Roger Penrose and others regarding if our consciousness interacts directly with the universe and they believe they have physical evidence that indicates it does.

Personally, I am not a follower of any established religion and instead believe in nature, evolution and science, with spiritual beliefs along the lines of Native Americans.

For me, there is no heaven or hell, but I do believe when we die, something is going to happen to our essence and spirit.  My own personal belief is that we go back into the universe in someway that allows what we once were to fertilize-like the universe - that we are all a part of it and will return to it in a way that I do not yet know.

With that, what I read yesterday has now led me to learn more about Pansychisum and other aspects of Penrose's findings, because for me, it has optimism to affirm my own beliefs.
