Icon Something about Trump...he's a damaged weakling...

So, on Trump, I think he knows very well he is a loser and a con man. I don't think this is lost on the guy at all. I think if I was left in a room with him for 15 minutes I could verbally reduce him to near collapse. To me, or maybe it is some imagined thing I see, the guy is just a total psychological mess. His bluster is all compensation for what a pile of crap he believes he is. I think his father did a number on him.

I don't fear him in any way as a person, nor do I see him as some great threat as an individual. This may be a weak spot for me, I know, but to me the guy just comes across as pathetic. He preys on weakness, fear, and anger in others because he is so filled with these things himself. He knows how to get at these things in others because he is loaded with them himself. This to me, comes down to the main reason his "fans" are so into him. They recognize themselves in him. Because he is so like them, scared, weak, alone, angry, hateful, they think he is one of them. It's sad. I don't hate people for any of this, it makes me feel sorry for them in a way.

His "campaign" is so pathetic and self-defeating because he is. He just can't do things any other way because he does not know how. He has no understanding, really, about how to appeal to anybody unless they are already predisposed to adore him. It's weird and messed up in a number of ways.

It's funny, when you watch the video of him talking about RFK he is torn. Part of him wants Bobby to love him, to like him, to be on his side, but another part of him does not want to admit this and wants to call Kennedy a communist and dangerous, because he does not want his fans to think Bobby is better than him.

Trump is terrified of everything. He is the weakest man to have ever been president, and it is pretty damn funny his followers think he is a strongman.

The video of him cowering in front of Putin is just the most pathetic thing I have ever seen a US president do in my lifetime. What really makes Trump so dangerous in my mind is what he might try to do to prove he is not the weakling we know he is.

On Kennedy and the vaccine stuff, I just think he looks at it as a lawyer that wants to make a case against harm possibly caused by vaccines. I don't know how much harm he has caused, I know about the accusations, but I do not know that he specifically hurt people. He has said things that I don't think benefit the public in general, and I do think he changes what he says based on his audience. That is irritating.
