I'll give you points for being brief, anyway. It would help if you would expand on what you mean.
Personally, I am curious as to what you think about a bunch of current events, Marc, so please speak freely about whatever is on your mind. Only a few of us here are going to reply to you anyway, so we can have a conversation, if you want to.
On AG James, well, one thing that really stood out to me in the civil cases in New York was that Donald Trump's lawyers put on an epic show of how to get your client destroyed in court. He helped, of course, with his weird nonsense and ignorant behavior and I am sure that his attorneys were a handcuffed by having the so called "worst client in the world" who was probably demanding they say and do some of the wild and stupid things they did.
So, I would have to say that Ms. James and her team had a rather massive advantage over Trump and his lawyers because they were competent. Trump's lawyers defined inept and, quite honestly, ignorant. They seemed to put on a show, not a defense, and at times they seemed totally ignorant of the law. I think he did in some cases employ lawyers that had never conducted themselves in a New York court room and, I believe at least one of them, had no trial experience whatsoever.
Meaning basically, if you think it is upsetting what has happened to Trump in these civil cases, well, he mostly has himself to blame for the outcomes.
I will say this, I am not a lawyer, but skilled lawyers observing what went on in these cases have explained that they believe if Trump had hired good attorneys and did not do all of his nonsensical and dishonest "I did nothing wrong! I can do whatever I want! It the prosecutors and judges and Joe Biden that are guilty!" routine, he could have negotiated his way out of all of these charges at a tiny fraction of what it cost him.
So, as in so many of the messes Trump finds himself in, they are his own doing and he works extra hard to make them worse.
Do you have a different take on it?
