Agree, I think Netanyahu and his support network need to be not only ripped out of politics but disgraced, destroyed, and exposed as the sociopathic gangsters we know them to be. Same with Hamas. And same with Trumpists and fascists everywhere.

For my two cents worth of an opinion I also think that the international community and the IMF and the World Bank and Israel should do what Einstein (and my great-uncle) implored them to do, what was done in the reunification of post-Gorbachev Germany—make loans available to invest in the Palestinian people, to build hospitals and universities and housing and infrastructure and desalination plants, and root out Hamas and Hamas-style extremists the old-fashioned way, with benevolent investment as the carrot in one hand and a police operation as the stick in the other. 

The same rooting out has to be done in Israel, and England, and Italy and Germany and the US. Rather than saying "a pox on both houses," we should be saying "a blessing on both houses." But the red mask of trauma and hatred and the human needs for simple answers and simple villains to blame makes that nearly impossible. This will likely get worse as long as Netanyahu and Hamas and their ilk are allowed to continue their violence.
