What was it that I saw, three companies, Blackrock, State Street and Vanguard own are on their way to owning 60% of single family home in this country by 2030.

The claim itself is somewhat in question but, on the way to being true. Renting a house runs about $4000.00 a month where I live. The mortgage payment on the same house would likely run about half of that.
If they can buy up most of these homes, that's quite a score.
