Yes, and that is for even more money, $2.7 billion, I believe, and so they will settle that one as well with another billion dollar payout. They really can't go to court because they have already been exposed as completely guilty, they lawyers suing them have all the internal conversations where FOX employees, on air entertainers, and Murdoch admit that they are telling these lies and slandering these companies and people BECAUSE their viewers want to hear this and if they don't tell these lies they lose viewers, their ratings drop, and that will cost them money. Which is a bizarre way to look at things and they are losing two billion to two voting machine companies now anyway for slandering them. 

The FOX shareholders are also enraged, so within the next two years, they are going to start suing FOX because they were lied to as well and with paying out billions the FOX stock is going to take a big hit. Now, who knows how much the shareholders will get, because that will settle too and never go to trial, but look at it as another billion to billion and a half. 

The word is that FOX has $4 billion set aside to make payouts and payoffs. Well, they are now burning through that and the blood is in the water. Murdoch is a dirty, dirty businessman who looks at making these payouts as part of doing business...which is why at the moment there looks like no change of direction at FOX. That's the face they want to show, they want everyone to think that it is all just normal. I have not even looked at FOX to see if they are saying anything at all about this on their channel but the other media reports say they are not. So, who knows what their own viewers know or think at this point. 

It looks like the next two years are going to be critical at FOX. They look like they are headed for a bankruptcy filing.

I don't know what their strategy will be. The other more insane Right Wing TV networks are also getting sued and they don't have pockets as deep as Rupert. So, I am wondering if we could see a total collapse of the insane anti-American, anti-Democracy Right Wing garbage networks over the next few years. This would probably be the best case scenario for the United States, but foreign money is being pumped in to hold them up and so, not sure if they can be wiped out. They pay for these networks to cause the division and chaos here and they did bring us to the brink. 

I mean, you know something really dirty is going on when you have $4 billion set aside to make payoffs so you can slander people.
