Icon Where the fear comes from...Trump, Lindell, Fuentes...

Well, there is fear from Democrats of what Trump and his goon squad would do to this country if he regained power. They do have a plan and they have followers and believers that love this plan. I do not think they can execute it at this point, so I have less fear of that. If they had a Red wave in the midterm then I think we would be screwed and well on our way to a fascist dictatorship here.

I think the key here is what the numbers tell us. I have no doubt that there are Republican voters that did not vote for Republican candidates during the midterms. So, they have lost voters, not at the level I would hope for or expect but they no longer are a party that attracts the center, attracts independents, nor attracts Republicans unless they are radical loons looking for Trump to take over and be the last elected president, who would then appoint his successor.

I will let Nick Fuentes lay it out:

Now, Fuentes has been in the news because he had Thanksgiving dinner with Trump, Trump then did what he always does and claimed not to know Fuentes or anything about him, a giant lie, his favorite congresswoman, Marjorie Greene, has done events with him and loves Fuentes, and Trump has called Fuentes brilliant, I am certain because of the plan you hear Fuentes lay out in the above video...to install Trump as dictator and then let him rule for the rest of his life. This kind of thing is Viagra to Trump.

Here is the number that is really frightening, last I read 200 Republicans that like the Fuentes plan have been elected. I knew the number was around 150 at one point but now we are up to 200 after the midterms, this includes state officials, not just DC Republicans. This is a huge problem. Not one that is easily fixed because these elected Republicans come out of Red districts in Red states. So, hard to say we can change that as the problem is there just are not enough voters in these places that will vote against these monsters.

Mike Lindell, the pillow guy, is now making a Trump supported bid to become leader of the RNC. This guy is a full on nutjob. He also likes the Fuentes plan. He believes Trump needs to be "installed" as president. Now, Trump does not like Ronna McDaniel, so Lindell is part of Trump's power play with the Republican party. If Lindell gets control of the RNC the Republican party can then just change their name and be the MAGA party. DeSantis can forget running because if Lindell takes over, Trump is the guy. I think that would be a disaster for the Republican party but, you have to calculate that there is strong support for Trump, Lindell, and Fuentes within the party.

Due to this, my feeling is that no support can be given to the Republican party until they have cleaned up the mess they have made.

Here is the big issue and one that Republicans don't really want to face. It's not just ridding themselves of Trump, he is just one man, he is 78 and could drop dead at any second. He's not exactly healthy. The money in the party, the power players, seem to have mostly turned against Trump. His legal issues get worse daily. So, getting rid of Trump is quite feasible at this stage. However, this does not rid you of the mob he has created. They will still be there. Trump incites them daily, and if he asks them not to vote for Republican candidates...well...they won't vote for them.

Republicans know this. They know that all of the most vile, racist, scum are Republican voters. That is Trump's base. The Q nuts that want public executions of Democrats in the street, they are part of the base. The Republicans already don't appeal to independents, they already are losing Republicans that have had enough...they can't afford to lose the "base" that Trump is playing to. It could drain the party of anywhere from 20 to 40 percent of their voters. They can't win elections without these people, even though they are scum...they need to appeal to them.

This Lindell thing with attempting to take over the RNC, well, that to me looks like Trump already showing us how he is going to attempt to destroy the party unless they call him their king. We seem to be getting the big war, but that war is within the Republican party. Trump is going to play really rough this time because he now believes his only way out of his problems is to become the permanent dictator of this country.

I am telling you, Ross, listen to Nick Fuentes in the video above. Yes, that sounds like crazy hard right talk, but that is what Trump calls "brilliant" and what Marjorie Greene, Paul Gosar, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, and nearly a couple hundred other elected Republicans believe they can make happen. It's real, they have a foothold, they will try to get there.

The fight now is for the Republican party. Not a fight of Democrats vs Republicans. It is MAGA/Q/Racist nuts vs whatever is left of the Republican party. We are going to watch them have that fight. We will see what happens but I think, as of this moment, only about a dozen elected Republicans in DC have come out for sanity. That is not promising for them. And they know this, if Trump and his vile angry mob somehow win...they will be part of the public executions. Trump is not kidding, he wants his enemies dead. There is no nuance to what the man says.

My feeling is, this fight in the Republican party was coming from the moment they bowed to Trump. They asked for it, they have got it. The American people spoke and voted against the Trump loons in the key battles, but Greene and Gaetz overwhelmingly won reelection. Not even close. Now they are grabbing for power and they are getting it. The Republicans did not come out and start talking about plans to deal with inflation, crazy rising costs, helping working Americans...nope...first thing the new Republican majority Congress announced was investigations into Hunter and Joe Biden. Totally useless except as political theater. Will not impact or improve people's lives in any way. It was a huge "Fuck you!" to the country.

Great for FOX news, useless otherwise.

We know the majority of the country wants nothing to do with this but this is where we stand. I have faith in the country that we won't allow the MAGA nuts to take over but the fight now is within the Republican party and likely in the courts. MAGA has to destroy the Republican party to get to power. They have to go through them first. Let's see how people react to this.
