So, the battle has only just begun and Trump has made sure it will be 2 years long so, we are going to get a lot of this crap. 

So, in his second really quotable statement that is obviously about him being a better candidate...or wait...maybe cult leader...than Trump, Ron told Republicans that "Voters would walk barefoot over broken glass" to vote for him.

How weird is that? You are a politician, Ron, not a god. I mean I know the whole MAGA thing is a cult but come on, I thought the idea was to get away from that. I suppose this is meant to be along the lines of Trump saying that he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and his voters would still support him. 

I have an entire list of things that should disqualify DeSantis from running for president but at this moment in time, sadly, we kind of need him because he is the guy that a good portion of the Republican party wants to get (hide?) behind to rid themselves of Trump. 

I get it, the idea is to be a younger and more virile cult leader than the Donald, so the MAGA cult feels safe with him. He is sort of the David Miscavige to Trump's chubby, smelly L. Ron Hubbard.
