he opened for The Cowboy Junkies during their "Caution Horses" tour. He wore a blue suit, looked just like Abe Lincoln without the beard and my life hasn't been the same since. I never heard of him prior to the show. Never miss those opening acts folks, you may be pleasantly surprised from time to time. I also got to see Jeff Buckley with around twenty folks, at a small theatre in Tempe,before he died, as well. But, my bigest mistake was turning down free tickets to see Joe Strummer on his last tour. I was at a bar promotional event instead. You see they were having a contest to win backstage passes for Travis, needless to say I won the passes, but missed a legend before he died.
