It seems reasonable. And consider how many times Trumps followers through the years, have sworn epithets such as: I'd like to wring his neck; if I had a gun I'd shoot him; that fricking politician, they're all the same; I'll get even with you someday you mfer:I I deserve more money for this slave labor. Emotions rule.
Trump has given them and/or their offspring, the chance to actually do something get-even-malevolent: shoot their gun; volunteer to be a member of his militia; get on a plane and show up at a peaceful rally and begin breaking windows and setting cars on fire, perfect foils for his strategy of frightening suburban women into voting for him.
The absolutely surprising thing is that these suburban women, and others, won't recognize that this is all going down on on Trump's watch, as Biden has pointed out. Can you imagine the targeted vitriol if this had happened on Obama's watch?
As with most successful demigods, Trump has a certain hypnotic appeal I certainly don't understand. His years on television, his early training by his dad to be a killer. What a calculating monster.
