Recall what happened early on in Gore/Bush - the Bushies fabricated a fake protest of supposed real citizens (they were paid operatives) banging on glass doors screaming the vote counters were stealing the election from them.  That pushed the narrative that Bush won early on.

Sort of if the election is going Biden's way, he needs to come out accept victory and call on Trump's concession....
