You must admit, it provides the possibility of Trump declaring : I'm a wartime President.  A little skirmish he and Putin might arrange could explode into something making Covid19 look like child's play.

Yet Trump's egoism betrays him into thinking he can immerse and emerge from anything his stable genius dreams up.

It's certain he's giving it more than a second thought, as in "I wonder..."
