Great post, emotionally gripping, portraying an abhorrent future I wouldn't want my great grandchildren
to need to rectify, serving in another great civil war.
I don't why I was shocked by the man's answer. Given some thought, one could see Trump more willing to see this country destroyed by war than to lose an election. Before a civil war, on the other hand, North Korea and Iran both could be taunted into unleashing weapons, forcing us into a period of destruction, making a coronavirus look like child's play; then having its survivors blindly choosing sides to rebuild a pre-Trump nation.
The CEO of the NRA, would, no doubt, don a Lincoln tall hat, blown off by withering fire from patriots currently members of this board.
