You remind me, beautifully, just how much Trump uses distraction as a way to keep attention off news he's afraid of.

It may be that the wall all during the election was a distraction from the collusion he knew he was involved in and didn't want some investigative reporter to sniff it out and let us all know.

Will he hold the government hostage until after Cohen's February 7 testimony? His "thrashing around" waiting for it and the Mueller report will become more incoherent as time goes on, such as the Syria move--a consequence of which we saw Isis perform earlier today--and the shutdown beyond reason.

He is becoming more unfit for office each day right in front of our eyes. History has to make note of the gutless Republican politicians, so afraid of what Trump might do to campaign against them in their bids for reelection, that they give him his way even when they know it is against the country's best interests.

And poor Bob Mueller, is slowly collecting the keys to the grid-lock, but can't use a single one until his investigation is complete.

Putin must laugh himself to sleep.
