We know 2019 is setting up to be the worst year for Trump in his entire
life.
It is not just Mueller he needs to be concerned about. There is SDNY
and
their work, there is the New York State Attorney General and her work,
there are several other open investigations and lawsuits that are
ongoing. Plus the Democrats have regained oversight and subpoena power
and are beginning new probes and investigations.
Pretty much every aspect of Trump, his family, his businesses, his
campaign, missing inauguration funds, violations of the emoluments
clause, are all underway. His criminal Trump Foundation has already been
shut down and this points to the same group of people that run and
oversee his businesses...which we already know are involved in years of
fraud and money laundering.
Trump is going to look to cut some sort of deal or deals...he always
does. His standard procedure is to talk tough, attempt to distract, and
then completely fold. He has done this all his life.
He began 2019 by shutting down the government, a wildly unpopular,
costly, and stupid move. His primary intent is not the "wall" which even
Trump could care less about (he would just like some funds to start some
sort of border barrier he can point to and say "Look I built something!")
but rather media distraction as he wants the media talking about the
shutdown and "wall" not the absolute shit storm he is in the middle of
with Russia, his foundation being shut down, every aspect of his criminal
activity being under investigation, and the behind closed doors sinking
like the Titanic support of the Republican party.
The shutdown helps Trump as a distraction and he would let it go on
forever but it is not helping the Republican party and they are not going
to keep riding that out.
So, as more and more falls out of the filthy Trump closet,
frustration
grows with Republicans having to stand by him, and Democrats actually
holding him accountable for what he has done and is doing...not to
mention the high potential of worsening economic issues due to Trump's
bumbling...well...much of 2019 will be devoted to how to get Trump out.
And a lot of that conversation will be by Republicans. You may not
hear
it out in the open but the truth is, behind closed doors, they pretty
much despise the guy and what he has done to their party.
