Looking back, it appears that Nixon resigned so that his Vice-President
assuming the presidency could pardon him, knowing that a Democrat elected
would not.Ford pardoned him; Carter, most likely, would not have.After the Meuller report, Trump will find himself in an even more
precarious spot than Nixon. Will he resign for the same reason. Would
Pence pardon him?
