A far more pragmatic approach. I applaud you - just can't do it myself. The girls are rarely without music playing on their computers or via their iPods but not me (yet).

Totally agree about Colin Hay - fine singer, musician and performer. It's just that one song that does my head in.

Hunters and Collectors are an acquired taste. They were popular in pubs during the '80's and their audience was mostly bogans - beer-drinking footy fans. It's a strange thing because Mark Seymour (singer/songwriter) is a very articulate and intelligent man with a strong social conscience. To get an insight, read his autobiography 'Thirteen Tonne Theory: Life inside Hunters and Collectors'. Never saw H+C live, but have seen Mark Seymour on several occasions and never been disappointed. I think his voice has got better with time, so agree with your comments to a certain extent Peter.
