We have gun shows here it seems like almost every other week at the armory, where else, eh? Also, a new gun shop was just opened across from a park in my neighborhood amidst much hoopla. I can honestly say that I am not a fan of guns, however, I don't think anyone is really trying to outlaw all guns, though I would prefer it, but do realize that is an impossibility and don't pursue that avenue. I am just curious why anyone would be against registering their gun when purchasing it. How does anyone know for sure that it won't be used some day some where in a crime and that at least knowing where it came from would be useful to track down the perpetrators. Guns are stolen, pawned, lost, thrown into rivers, etc all the time, but if they once had a place of record, one could at least begin somewhere. What is this aversion from gun owner's of responsibility for their weapon?
