(jeez, I’m so trying to quit this junk)
Government that is less corrupt than it is accountable upholds the checks & balances that keep corporation heads honest and builds awareness of the inherent flaws in “shareholder value at all costs.” WallSt is a ruse. Neither our government nor our corporations are operating in just ways today. Revenue Collection is a grandiose-porker racket today, certainly, from taxation to penalty to peculiar regulation that racks small business while letting Too-Big-To-Fail business off scot-free. & so corporations are on welfare AND far far too top-heavy—those making the lion’s share being rewarded for falsifying profits & hedging their best bets on singular-personal-incentives-alone…and indentured servitude of the few for a goose egging of the many. Both are robbing the castle as it were. Robbing the Nation (& globally) for certain. & you are singing their praise while damning your fellowman for thinking abstract theory. Lobbyists are the crux of our leadership now. F#@kin’ LOBbyists! Really. Senators, Representatives (??), mere profiteers anymore, for the most part. But you take their potential out of the mix & all that remains is corporate “personhood” with carte blanche to rape & fleece from here to the dawn of the Toxic Age. For sake of what has devolved into a very desperate, dangerous, irresponsible, game of Risk management & plausible deniability. & you, in all your efforts to make heads or tails of your whirl around you, are assisting them (& your fellowman in tote) to the slaughter. Turn those little knob arms, crank open the shutters just a bit, expand the peripherals, you’re being a tool. Me too, certainly. & for what? Pride? You’re arguing on & on with very good & well-meaning people here. Well, I can’t speak for Brad & Mick. But if you follow the “t-party” line you are fooling how many generations? The repubs & the dems are corrupt, so if you follow their status quo then you are grouped among the divided & conquered; got by rote alone. & for what? Do you REally think the “pillars” of our economic system (now AND then) should not be held accountable for the state we are now in as a civilization? You really think it’s Your “Team” and Our “Team”? REally?
Nahhhh….
Really?
