Hey Eugene, Glad you made the trek back up here. I do not believe that the outcome is already written in stone. Reagan made up a lot of ground on Carter during the debates especially with the "there you go again" quote. Most if not all of the polling has oversampled the Democrats counting on turnout and excitement from the 2008 election and it is simply not going to happen. I'm not sure if Romney can win Ohio but I would not be surprised if he did. Glad to see Marc added his 2 cents in to this thread, also Reg and Eric. Obama lost because of the following: 1. He can't hide from his terrible record on the economy. You can only blame Bush so long. 2. He can't hide the massive debt he has racked up. 3. He can't attack on the 47% quote because he opens up Romney to explore his damning recent tapes. 4. He was not prepared and although he is a great orator, he is not a great debater.

I look forward to foreign policy debate. After the recent Libya debacle, he will get spanked on that also.
