i suppose i should see the original first... if only for strother martin and dennis hopper... but, no, i'm not thrilled about the prospect of seeing the remake... then again, i thought 'inception' was going to be great and i thought it blew...

watched danny boyle's '28 days later' today and enjoyed it overall, so maybe i should just shut it. i am looking forward to '127 hours,' and that's after reading aron ralston's book and not really liking 'slumdog' a whole lot. but i like james franco and the story fascinates me enough to want to see it... and i will see the coen bros. version of 'grit,' as i see everything they put out, and would be interested to see how they came to decide upon this film to remake...
