Whata ya think? Coen Bros. Coen Bros gravel & irony infused gravitas, apparently based more closely on True Grit by Charles Portis than was the John Wayne vehicle (`69) of the same name. Funnier, nastier, bloodier, heavier, a lot odder and more ..well um.. Coenesque. & good music. I've not read True Grit, or anything by Portis, but am thinkin bout snatchin up a copy now, get it read before Christmas. You have any thoughts on this flick yet? Seems to lean somewhere in the vicinity of your moviegoer inclinations, no?
