Israeli fascist-neo-nazi killing machine? You've got to be fucking kidding, Mick. The flotilla was warned by the Israeli Navy 24 hours in advance not to proceed, and that they could dock in Israel or Egyptian ports, to release any humanitarian aid cargo, which would be sent to Gaza. The "activists" refused and proceeded anyways. The Navy acted in order to ensure that the flotilla was not carrying any material which could be used as weapons by Hamas against Israel, not to block humanitarian aid. When the IDF personnel were lowered onto the boats, they were attacked by the "activists" with metal bars, chairs and knives. There is video of this on several net sites. Things escalated, and the resulting tragic deaths. Did the IDF need to shoot, or should they just have used their paint-ball guns? If they feared for their lives I can understand them reaching for their pistols instead. It wasn't a planned attack. Blame the outcome on the stupidity of the activists and the Turks proceeding against an Israeli Navy despite a clear advance warning. I know you hate Israel, fine, most of the world does,...but acknowledge how this thing evolved before you paint the picture that this event was an unprovoked attack. There are 2 sides to this story, no one is questioning the tragic, and ultimately avoidable outcome. I agree with you that it will fuel the fire for more Islamic extremism. Maybe your "freedom fighters" will get lucky..but I doubt it; they haven't been lucky yet, with anything, except living on and spreading hatred...their forte apparently.
