Well Reg, i hope that somebody- the Democrats, the voters- have learned something then about complacency, taking things for granted and the consequences of how one chooses to vote.

I'm not encouraged. The right wing in this country is sharpening their axes. The Democrats, and consequently those of us who care about things like health care, etc; are going to get out heads handed to us in November.

I disagree with your notion that the blame for the MA election should be put on the Democrats. Last I heard a person's vote was still a secret ballot, and supposedly the people are intelligent enough to understand the issues and vote accordingly.

The voters of MA have spoken. Now we will all live with the results.
