They have their state health care program and, apparently, did not want to be part of any new federal one on top of it. And everything that made Coakley a successful Atty Gen worked against being a good candidate.
I don't know, David, there is a lot of anti Lieberman feeling here in CT; it'll be tight. The first hurdle will be this November, with Blumenthal probably running against the WWF wife and money.
