Did I miss a meeting? I've seen writings from the left, right, and center, but I cannot recall much that would qualify as being racist. Some of the public health care option discussions have actually been pretty interesting.

Myself, I just got back from a wonderful trip with my youngest to see the grandparents in Oregon. There were chances to see the beach, play in the park, have a couple of long drives, and teach him to skip rocks on the river. That's my recommended medicine for the frustration of discussions about ideology.

It wouldn't bother me if there were a moderator option to filter out hatespeech (should it arise), but such has to be done with care.
