When I first began posting here, ten years ago, I left for a brief time, shaking my head and wondering how- and why- the guy who wrote 'Triage' had so many dumb, reactive guys posting on this site. They all claimed to love David's music, which may be true, but still seemed like a giant disconnect to me: How do you separate 'Triage''s music from its politics- its vibe. How do you love Triage and GWB at the same time?

But I returned shortly. Something about the relatively small numbers of posters and their longevity here- real friendships began to develop. And David occasionally popped in.

I don't frequent any other 'fan' boards and never really considered this one of those. This site is pretty unique and if you decide to roll it up please give us some advance warning: there are some folks I'd like to stay in touch with.
