I'm with you, Herring. I'd miss this forum if it wasn't here - have been visiting and checking daily for what seems like forever (inbetween playing those addictive games you mentioned - in my case Bejeweled Twist - how did you know???).

Over this time. many people have come and gone for a variety of reasons, but there have always been enough interesting folk for me to keep hanging about.

I have made some great friends through this site - exchanged thoughts, conversations and gifts. I have even had one DBIS-er visit me. The Burn Unit exercise provided me with an array of new music to listen to that I would probably never have encountered otherwise.

So for me the experience has been mostly positive. On the down side, some of the threads and the attitudes of their authors have been disturbing (or at least in disagreement with my own views). Still, life would be very dull if you were surrounded by people who thought the same as you on every subject.

The underlying attraction for me was originally the music of DB. I guess it still is. I will enjoy the music irrespective of whether this site is here or not, but I'd miss it....
