I thought the French Film, "The Class" was better than all of the five nominated films and it didn't even win in it's "Best Foreign Film" slot. The A.A. seem to slip every now and then. Like when that crap Lifetime Channel movie "Crash" upset "Brokeback".

Dan is right, "Milk" wasn't perfect. I rarely say this with films, but I felt "Milk" could have been an hour longer. I do hope that we get a longer cut on DVD. Do rent the doc. film "The Life and Times of Harvey Milk" if you want a further portrayal of the man and a more overall honest one. Not that the film lied, it just didn't show his flaws enough or delve into his personal friendships and relationships.
