I bought the new cd and it's pretty good, I think. It is certainly not the crass and raucous free-for-
all of Pretender I and II (those records are just perfect, I think--and they, unlike me, haven't aged).
I don't know--I don't mind pedal steel ever and I like when the British rock folks (I know, she's from
Ohio and unlike me, admits to it) do country. I especially love when The Stones do it. Not a fantastic cd but so far, I like it. I'll have to listen to it a few more times, I think.On a weird front, Neel Kashkari--the man in charge of the 700 billion--his stats--as announced by
the geniuses at CNN (why, oh why do I watch this crap?)--include growing up loving AC/DC.
Hopefully, he can stop rocking on long enough to get us back in (to the) black.
