This is their first cd in like, I dont' know, fifteen, twenty years, so I'm thinking, this thing has to rock. Heck, the title of the cd, Break Up The Concrete, sounds like this has to be a rocking cd. So I plug it in the cd player. The first song sounds pretty good and all, but then the next several have me thinking, WTF.I pull out the cd to see if it is the right one and not a cd by Reba McIntyre. Yep. It was The Pretenders. It even has a duet with Willie Nelson. Now, don't get me wrong, but, this cd isn't what I expected. Chrissie Hynde has been countryfied.....
