Well, Palin didn't levitate to Heaven or speak in tongues but neither did she answer any questions put to her. She at one point announced her intention NOT to answer the questions- something that the moderator and Biden let her get away with.

Her responses were canned and attempted to play to 'hockey moms and joe six-packs'.... whoever they are. I was glad that Biden brought up the 'maverick' horseshit and asserted that that is exactly what it is.

Thought it was interesting that she loudly and plainly asked Biden as they entered the stage, "can I call you Joe?" Then the only time she actually used his name in the debate was when she responded "say it ain't so Joe" in challenging something he said. She's a class act...

Also heard her and Biden respond to a fluff question from Katie Couric tonight:

KC: "What's the worst thing Dick Cheney has done as VP?"

JB: "Shredded the Constitution"

SP: "His duck hunting accident"
