I was diligently watching until my son had me help him with his math so the tele went off. The moderator was questionable going in having written a favorable upcoming book chapter on Obama but this might have been a slight blessing because too me she has gone overboard in trying to be fair. No complaints there. I was listening to a former opponent of hers on O'Reilly radio and he was saying that she does debate well and really went diligently to accomplish what she said she would do in the debates. Which might explain her 80%+ approval rating as governer. He said, and I see it now in the debate, that she comes across as being an average Joe fighting for us and against corrupt government. If nothing else that came through. Sure she had been coached but she did not clam up like in the Couric interview. I mean not even answering a question about the books she is reading. That one floored me. We will have to see what the talking heads have to say afterward but I think she held her own. I did tell my friend Ronald about the "clubbing a Baby Seal" comment made up here. He roared on that one. McCain is down 7 as of tonight. Obama might be peaking a little early but the debate I think next Tuesday will be ever important. I say it is still going down to the wire.
