Jackson is right up there with Van Morrison, Nick Drake and Cat Stevens for putting out three concessive classics in a row:

For Everyman, Late For The Sky and The Pretender all, near flawless collections.

That alone, I'll forever hold him in high regard. Needless to say, those records shaped me as a man. The Soundtrack to a Summer many years ago, losing my virginity, my father and my youth... seemed I was forever playing Jackson's music in the background...

I guess I'm lucky I'm still alive today, heartbreaking stuff in them tunes!
