Hi PatI suppose my first question would be, "when did you cease to be a neocon"?I've no intent to be rude, and do correct me if I am mistaken, but didn't you support this
Administration to the hilt until, apparently, quite recently(which Administration is nothing if not the
epitome of Neo Conservatism, no?).Being more specific(as I recall), you supported this Administration:in the preemptive invasion(of Iraq);in torture clinics;in nation building;the Terry Schivo(?) spectacle/right to life farce;in the thoughtless passage of the Patriot Acts(the 1st being largely undebated and predominately
unread by Congress before its passage in 6 weeks time);and thus in support of diminishing the Bill of Rights in the name of some nebulous unredeemable
sense of security(especially with the borders wide open huh.I don't remember where you stood on controlling illegal immigration but then you're on the front
lines what with how many Texas border towns(on the US side) that fly only the Mexican flag. That's all the examples I can think of offhand.Ntl, I would agree that Neo Conservatism is not Conservatism but then, isn't that why the name was
chosen, to fool the simple. Neo Conservatism being but the latest round of totalitarianism,
sometimes called national socialism. We probably agree more than we know Pat but I've never been certain because you have admitted to
simply enjoying pulling peoples chains. A trait, I must say, I find disturbing. I just don't respect
shitstirring fer giggles, it says something unsettling about ones character. [Nor am I impressed
with an avowed Christian taking the Lords name in vain, which seemed to be the case recently.]Anyhow, hope you're well
