I was reading a post buried somewhere down in the site in which Greenie referred to me as a Neo-Conservative. I really just think of myself as a conservative and I feel my party (Republican) has run away.
Is this Neo-Conservatism?
1. When Congress goes after the oil companies and laughingly tries to sue OPEC I realize how pathetic they really are. No one in the media cares to cover what happened over the last say 33 years or so since we have
had any attempt at further exploration or building new refineries thwarted by leftists environmentalist. Why is this never mentioned in the MSM?
2. When we have 8,000 Illegals(mostly Mexicans) cross daily and both parties turn a blind eye chastising anyone who dare stand up is declared a radical. When we have a press that fails to report in cities that have
been overrun by Illegals who stomp on their schools and medical facilities. Mexico has gladly given us their poverty problem. Shouldn't we be glad to take it? Because these guys take jobs from Americans that won't do those jobs, mainly because they are on welfare.
3. When anyone who stands up for the definition of marriage as a man and a woman is labeled a "Homophobe". How could we have gotten this one wrong for thousands of years. Actually there have been instances in history where the definition got a little mixed up and societies have died off. Did Sodom and Gomorrah really happen?
4. When the government thinks it needs to be able provide all sorts of entitlements especially health care when it is proven that people grow more with hand-up instead of hand-out. Is there anything wrong with Self-Reliance or is the majority not capable of being Self-Reliant.
5. Find it absurd that Christmas break and any Christian holiday has now been downgraded to a secular name even though we have a National holiday for it. No more Christmas trees, you have to call them Holiday Trees to be PC. I think PC if a form of speech suppression.
Before everyone chimes in talking Orielly this, Hannity that ,talking points be aware your side has won, because there is not one politician that will address all 5 of these issues and if they do they are chastised by politicians, special interest groups(note I did not get into the race pimps we have in Rev Al and Jesse) or god forbid the press.
You will note that I did not once mention the spread of Democracy. I could give a rats ass if we spread that. We dumb downed society into thinking freedom is not really all it's cracked up to be. But you will find that they very thing that the left despises (war) is what has given them the freedom they enjoy. We no longer have the stomach for what it takes to win wars and it will be what brings this society to mediocrity. Could we have ever won WWII with today's society? The answer is absolutely not.
Which brings me to the point of this post. I have a website in mind...............ah more about that later:)
