The Stuff of Thought by Steven PinkerI really liked The Language Instinct when he put it out a few years ago but his books since haven't been as good. This one is a much more technical discussion of language theory and how it illiuminates innate thought processes. It's pretty slow slogging but I'll get through it eventually.To really grasp the book, I'll probably have to re-read it several times but I like to have some dense books on hand in case I wind up in Kazakhstan or wherever.
