I've just finished "The Book Thief" by Marcus Zuzak. Someone here recommended it as a book people who enjoyed "The Kite Runner" would appreciate, and I certainly did. My 14 year old daughter Alyssa also read it and it moved her to tears (amazing as she is usually the least emotional in our family). Lovely descriptive narrative, interesting perspective on a terrible time in history (Nazi Germany).
