If the Dems can survive the primaries and Obama gets the nod (not easy with Hiliary pulling a Rove) Obama needs to POUND HOME the fact that the Republicans who were unwilling to fully finance the troops (ie: body armor) or fully finance "No child left behind", had no problem bailing out Bear Sterns. If they were going down due to the sub prime fiasco why not bail out the homebuyers? Because the majority of $ in those bad loans did'nt go to people buying a home for their families. It went to rich speculators gambling with loans through their LLCs. When the home market went south they just defaulted and let the bank try to collect from an LLC while they went to Nantucket for an early spring break. If Americans can't get furious over a war that is bleeding them dry maybe the'll see the irony in bailing out the banks.
