First off, Fred is a realist and although he's made his living writing, this wasn't one of his best
pieces but the story is nonetheless important. Why, because as with so many things in America,
reality is often terribly different than the packaging suggests. If you go here: http://www.amren.com/index.html and click the Knoxville Horror feature box, you
will find a much better piece of writing, and more pertinent details. Including that these car
jackers, dumped the car after dumping the young mans body near railroad tracks and setting his
corpse on fire. So much for it being a car jacking that went wrong. This account is taken from
court filings and a modicum of official admissions.Too, I would urge you to go here: http://www.amren.com/archive.htm and DL the April 02 issue
and read the article, Hard Time that begins on page 5 of the pdf. It's an education I have not one
doubt about. One of the observations that I have noted throughout my life is that white people
don't ban together like other races. It turns out, that remains true in prison when one would think
solidarity would make for the utmost sensibility. (And just to be clear, I have been attempting to
organize a working co-op for over 15 years, and it's only now coming together, but with
immigrants, the honky's still don't see the sense of it, lol. And folks, I'm as Anglo as we come, but I
grew up in projects and the poor side of towns. Noting things as they are doesn't make one a
racist, as much as you might like to believe it does(very much like the, guns are only for killing
example). I really don't care what color you are as long as you are civilized and can keep your
word.) If you do have the guts to read this most horrific piece of reality, take note of the three
strikes DUI guy.You see, most of you haven't read all I recommended, and as such haven't gotten the full import of
my meaning, which was to broaden your perspective of what is. I'm not interested in stirring up
racial strife, I've lived it. I was in race riots in two different parts of the country as a
teenager(mostly trying to stay out of the way). My first day of high school, the school was
surrounded with police in riot gear, and all hell broke loose inside(and I managed to stay out of the
way, others I observed weren't so lucky). Later, I got with the program and carried a piece to
school. Lots of kids did in those days, and I had friends on both sides of the divide, I lived in the
projects in challenged landscape land(what a wretched place). Not to worry EEE, I'm all about the content of a man's character. Peter's point is key and as Patrick
Monyhan pointed out before the Great Society went into place, and continued to warn afterward,
the illegitimacy could only be expected to sky rocket as it has. Sadly, there is no way to make the
fathers pay. In fact, and I abhor this solution, the best solution would be forced sterilization. And
that's simply because you can't make a man pay for a 70% illegitimacy rate when multiple woman
are letting him impregnate them because they all know there's a paycheck in it for them. (Those of
you who think that is racist obviously don't understand cause & effect, and should prolly shut up
before you put your ignorance on display for all to see.)And by the way, if the economy tanks, immigration reform is enacted(as it surely will be), there may
be less and less moneys available for entitlements. I'm just saying it's something to be mindful of.
Especially you urbanites who aren't in gated communities. True hunger inspires all races to
desperate actions. On the lighter side, I would recommend reading Urban Law 101(Sept03) at:
http://www.amren.com/archive.htmWhether true, or not, you prolly won't admit you laughed, hard.Oh, lastly, I saw no refutation of 'The Color of Crimes' documentation, which seemed pretty straight
forward.peaceably
