if i may, let me tell you a story, about a man named Bradley ~

who, in the last month, has been flat broke, had two coworkers die from a deadly and insidious disease, and is these days surrounded by the following: a sister who is badly sick with colitis, a best friend who is in 14K legal fee debt from a drug bust and now wants to sell drugs to get out of debt, another who is out of his tree and a dealer with guns in his house, a close couple whose marriage is heading straight for the rocks, another friend who mixed muscle relaxants and booze last week and ended up in the ER, then went out and blew a .19 the next night, after passing out in a train station and getting robbed of all his money, cards, phone, etc during the day. this week, after 5 years together, the girl he wanted to marry just left him and removed all traces of herself from the home they shared. then he got a call today informing him that an old friend was quickly losing his battle with brain cancer.

and, this alarming momentary penchant for referring to himself in the third person aside, he's never had more peace of mind in his life.

so what's his secret? well, Mick knows, and, in between cider burps, he's been trying to tell us. remember, the Chinese character for crisis...is also the character for opportunity.
