Well, I do look forward to hearing those.  Yeah that bounce thing is really labour intensive, and with analog the tape hiss thing gets worse with each generation of bounce, so kudos to Dave for perseverance. . I have an 8 track digital unit, and can bounce for more tracks, but there is no noise issue with a digital  bounce.  However I do notice a je ne sais quois type of decrease in separation with those, so I don't do it much.  I like the discipline of  "less is more".  Like if you need more tracks to say something,  you really need something more than just extra tracks. 

My budgies sing perfectly and they never need re-takes.  They squeak perfectly on-key. : > )
