i'm not brittle just wiped out - Me too.It's been a shitty week or two. In hospital for 4 days with a nasty infection which required large doses of IV antibiotics. The hospital has to be the worst place to be when you're sick (and paralyzed may I add) Noisy, smelly and crowded rooms, rude and incompetent nurses or doctors that make me so scared that I will intentionally not ask for help or assistance when I indeed require it. Occasionally a nurse or caregiver will be courteous and compassionate (sha-la-la) which is such relief it's hard to explain. I literally begged to be discharged so I could get home to recover.Much to my relief that plea was answered in the affirmative (needed the bed for the next sick bastard) I've been home for 4 days and Just today I felt rested and comfortable enough to enjoy a full day up and about. So is this a rant or not??!! Naaah just tellin' it as it is. Hey Mick your day must've been brightened a bit also with Man. U's loss this afternoon. And I just located a long missing cd that has among many excellent tunes Lee Michaels "Do You Know What I Mean", Sir Douglas Quintet "She's About a Mover" and The George Baker Selection's "Little Green Bag" I guess things aren't as shitty as they could be when you're listenin' to such cool tunes.
