After all, America's troubles mostly stem from the fact that everyone wants to speak, but not take the time to listen.

That's funny, 'cause I'm convinced that America's trouble mostly stem from

a) having an amazingly ignorant view of the outside world, resulting in decades of backfiring foreign policies, police actions and illegal wars, leaving more "hot spots" behind than upon entry,

b) being a hippocrite oil junkie, networking with oppresive dictatorships while preaching democracy - as long as Billy Ray can drive his Hummer at 50 cents a gallon...

For many of the six billion people who live outside the U.S. (yes, it is actually possible), the Stars and Stripes unfortunately represent the above.
