geez, Rog, that's nearly my story there - almost 21 in 1987 or so, and was starved for some true music, so i just loved the gritty realism. got drunk with strangers that year in San Diego and sang along with the jukebox, etc. still dig the guitar riff in Swimming. hell, still dig it all. the Davids told me i had to rouse the rabble, and so to this day i try.
