Music: The Golden Age Of Radio, Josh Ritter. A little Nick Drake, a little Townes Van Zandt, a sprinkle of Cash and Dylan make a wonderfull new talent in Josh Ritter. Props to the tradition, yet very much his unique self. Great folk/country/pop record!

Film: The Two Towers, Peter Jacksons brilliant, epic, second installment of The Lord of the Rings. There were a few others films that were a close second, Gangs Of New York would have been my top pick, if they would have gotten some real actors to try and compete with Daniel Day-Lewis.

Books: At Swim, Two Boys by Jamie O'Neill. Mr.O'Neill carries the torch of brilliant Irish writers into the 22nd century. Mesmerizing, sophisticated, complex comming of age story just before the Easter uprising in Ireland.

Television: You mean, there is actually something good to watch on TV? The only shows I can tolerate, are the following: Six Feet Under, OZ and Sex In The City. So I guess HBO is the only channel worth watching.
