I guess my argument has nothing to do with cultural regionalism. It has more to do with professional players hogging the Olympic spotlight from more worthy athletes. Plus a lot of these teams sports are not played south of the equator, so I say get rid of them! Come to think of it. The entire Winter Olympics is a upper hemisphere phenomenon. Get rid of the Winter Games all together.
