I suspect 'hate' is the wrong verb but there's a very simple reason that Iraqis want American invaders out of their country, alive or dead: territoriality.

Like all human beings, Iraqis are territorial animals, driven by very deep instincts to resist all invaders of their land by whatever means available including extreme violence. This motive is deeper than politics, deeper than reason.

I recommend a very fine book by Robert Ardrey 'The Territorial Imperative'. It's a bit dated, being about 40 years old but its main arguments and conclusions remain valid. It's also very well written, very lyrical in its desriptions of animal and human behavior.
